AlpineStars Leather Jackets Built for Riders Who Know the Difference

Riders drawn to the Alpinestars jackets aesthetic know what they’re after — close-cut racing panels, structured shoulder lines, and hardware that doesn’t rattle loose after a season. At Devilson, we build that same construction standard from our own patterns, cut in-house from genuine cowhide and lambskin, with no outsourced assembly.

We use full-grain cowhide at the shoulder, chest, and back panels where structure matters, and softer lambskin through the sleeves and side gussets for unrestricted arm movement. Every main zip, pocket closure, and cuff adjuster runs YKK hardware. We double-stitch every load-bearing seam with bonded nylon thread before the lining goes in.

Construction Details, Sizing, and Care

The cowhide shell runs 1.0–1.2mm throughout the outer panels — consistent thickness across the back and chest means the jacket holds its shape without stiffening at the collar or hem after a few months of wear. We cut the lambskin sleeve panels on the bias to allow natural flex without distorting the seam lines.

Internal lining is full polyester twill, hand-sewn to the shell at the cuff and hem — not glued. Snap-button storm flaps back every main zip closure on race-style cuts.

Sizing notes:

  • Race-fit cuts run slim through the chest and upper arm — size up if you layer under armor
  • Street-fit styles are true to size with added room across the upper back
  • Measure chest, shoulder width, and sleeve length before ordering — all three appear on the product page size chart
  • Custom torso length, sleeve, or chest adjustments available on request

Care:

Wipe the cowhide surface with a damp cloth after wet rides and let it air dry fully before hanging. Condition the leather twice a year with a wax-based balm — it keeps the grain tight and the color consistent. Avoid leaving the jacket compressed in a bag for extended periods.
