MV Agusta-Inspired Leather Gear Built from Genuine Cowhide

MV Agusta carries one of the most distinct visual identities in Italian motorcycling — silver, red, and black paneling with a refined silhouette that bridges racing function and road elegance. At Devilson, we draw from that aesthetic directly, pattern and cut every mv agusta leather clothing in-house from genuine hide, and run all structural sewing on our own floor without outsourcing.

We build the outer shell from full-grain cowhide across the back, chest, and shoulder panels — 1.0–1.2mm thickness, graded for density consistency before we put any pattern down. Lambskin handles the sleeves and underarm flex zones at 0.8mm, where arm rotation needs to stay unobstructed. YKK hardware runs every closure — main zip, cuff adjusters, chest vents — and we double-stitch all structural joins with bonded nylon thread before the polyester lining goes in.

All mv agusta leather clothing pieces in this range run XS through 5XL — we accept custom sizing requests before order confirmation.

Construction, Fit, and Care

The full-grain cowhide shell holds its panel geometry because we grade and reject inconsistent-thickness sections before cutting — no soft patches hide under panel seams or behind lining. We cut lambskin sleeves with a forward arm rotation built into the pattern so the shoulder seam stays anchored when you extend toward the bars rather than creeping toward the neck.

We sew the full polyester twill lining separately and attach it at the hem and cuff only — it moves independently of the shell rather than pulling against the back panel under arm movement. Snap-button storm plackets back the main YKK zip on all race-inspired cuts.

What’s in this category:

  • Race-inspired jackets referencing the MV Agusta Reparto Corse silver and red colorway
  • Street-fit riding jackets with Italian-style panel geometry in a structured silhouette
  • Perforated cowhide warm-weather styles with full panel construction and hardware spec retained
  • Custom colorway builds for riders who want specific livery or two-tone detailing

Sizing notes:

  • Race-inspired cuts run slim through the chest and upper arm — size up one if you ride with armor inserts
  • Street-fit styles run true to size with added volume across the upper back panel
  • Measure chest, shoulder width, and sleeve length before ordering — all three appear on each product page size chart
  • Custom sleeve length, chest width, torso length, or silver-red color panel splits available on request

Care:

Wipe the cowhide surface with a damp cloth after every ride and hang dry fully before storing — surface moisture left in the grain works into panel edges and accelerates cracking over time. Condition the outer shell with a wax-based leather balm twice a year to maintain grain density and keep dyed panels consistent at the seams. Hang on a wide-shoulder hanger, never folded.
