How These Jackets Are Built and How to Size Them
The full-grain cowhide shell runs 1.0–1.2mm throughout the outer panels — this weight holds the structured shoulder line that BMW-inspired touring and race cuts require without stiffening at the collar after the first season. Lambskin sleeves sit at 0.8mm, cut with a slight forward rotation to sit naturally in a riding position rather than pulling back at the cuff.
We sew the full polyester twill lining in separately, attached only at the hem and cuff — it doesn’t pull against the shell at the shoulder or bunch under the arm. Snap-button plackets back the main YKK zip on race-cut styles for added wind closure.

Care:
Wipe the cowhide surface with a damp cloth after wet rides and let the jacket hang dry fully before storing. Condition the leather with a wax-based balm twice a year — it maintains the grain density and keeps panel edges from drying out at the seams. Store on a wide hanger, never folded.
