Leather shearling vest

At Devilson, we cut and assemble each leather shearling vest in-house using lambskin and cowhide selected for thickness consistency and clean grain. Panels are matched by hand, seams are reinforced at stress points, and we install YKK hardware where closures are required to avoid failure over time.

Sizes run from XS–5XL, and we support custom orders if you need specific measurements or adjustments.

How these vests are built

We use lambskin where flexibility and lighter weight matter, especially for everyday wear. Cowhide is reserved for builds that need more structure and abrasion resistance. The shearling is bonded and trimmed to maintain even insulation without bulk. Stitch lines are kept tight using heavy-duty thread, and stress areas like armholes and pocket entries are double-stitched. Hardware, including zippers and snaps, is sourced from YKK to ensure consistent function through repeated use.

What you’ll find in this category:

  • Shearling-lined vests with natural wool interiors for insulation
  • Smooth leather exteriors in both soft lambskin and structured cowhide
  • Variations in collar styles, front closures, and pocket layouts

Fit & sizing guidance

Our vests are cut to sit close to the body without restricting movement. Most customers choose their standard size for a regular fit, or size up if layering over thick garments. Each product page includes a size chart with chest and length measurements. Custom sizing is available if your measurements fall outside standard grading.

Care for long-term wear

Keep the vest away from direct heat and store it on a wide hanger to maintain shape. For cleaning, use a dry cloth for the leather surface and avoid soaking the shearling. Occasional conditioning helps maintain the outer leather’s texture.
