Suzuki Racing-Inspired Leather Jackets and Suits Cut from Genuine Hide

The Suzuki Ecstar GSX-RR livery carries a clean identity — deep blue, silver, and white paneling with a race silhouette that stays functional rather than decorative. At Devilson, we draw from that paddock aesthetic directly, pattern and cut every piece in-house from genuine cowhide and lambskin, and run all structural sewing on our own floor.

We build outer shell panels from full-grain cowhide across the back yoke, chest, and shoulders — 1.0–1.2mm thickness, graded hide by hide before any pattern goes down. Lambskin handles the sleeves on jackets and the inner thigh and underarm gussets on suit styles, where flex range matters more than panel rigidity. YKK hardware runs every closure — main zip, cuff adjusters, chest vents, and suit connector zips — and we double-stitch all structural joins with bonded nylon thread before the polyester lining goes in.

All Suzuki leather jackets and suits in this range run XS through 5XL — custom sizing requests accepted before order confirmation.

Construction, Fit, and Care

The full-grain cowhide shell holds its panel geometry through sustained use because we grade and reject inconsistent-thickness sections before cutting — no soft patches sit behind lining or under seam allowances. On suit styles, we position lambskin stretch inserts at the inner thigh, underarm, and back kidney zone with flatlock stitching to eliminate ridge pressure at every flex point.

We sew the full polyester twill lining separately and attach it at the hem and cuff only — it moves with the piece rather than pulling against the shell through the back panel. On two-piece suit styles, the jacket-to-trouser YKK connector zip runs the full waistband circumference for a secure join at speed.

What’s in this category:

  • Race-replica jackets referencing the Suzuki GSX-RR blue and silver colorway with paddock-accurate paneling
  • One-piece and two-piece leather suits with lambskin stretch inserts at flex zones
  • Street-fit riding jackets with Ecstar-inspired detailing in a relaxed structured silhouette
  • Custom colorway and livery-split builds across all jacket and suit fits

Sizing notes:

  • Race-cut jackets and one-piece suits run slim through the chest, hip, and upper arm — size up one if you wear armor inserts or ride in an upright position
  • Street-fit jackets run true to size with added room across the upper back
  • For suits, measure chest, waist, hip, and inseam — all four appear on each product page size chart
  • Custom sleeve length, torso length, chest width, or color panel splits available on request

Care:

Wipe the cowhide surface down with a damp cloth after every ride and hang dry fully before storing — moisture left in the grain breaks down dyed panel edges faster than road wear ever does. Condition the outer shell with a wax-based leather balm twice a year to maintain grain density across both jacket and suit panels. Hang jackets on wide-shoulder hangers and store suits flat or on a full-length hanger — never fold along the knee panels.
