Ducati-Inspired Racing Jackets Cut from Genuine Leather
Ducati’s paddock identity is unmistakable — deep red paneling, sharp geometric cuts, and a silhouette built for an aggressive riding position. At Devilson, we build ducati motogp jackets that reference that racing aesthetic, patterned and cut in-house from genuine cowhide and lambskin with no outsourced assembly on any structural component.
We use full-grain cowhide across the back yoke, chest, and shoulder panels — 1.0–1.2mm thickness that holds panel shape without bulk. Lambskin handles the sleeves and underarm gussets where the arm needs to rotate freely without seam resistance. Every closure runs YKK hardware, and we double-stitch all load-bearing joins with bonded nylon thread before the polyester lining goes in.
All ducati motogp jackets ship in sizes XS through 5XL — contact us before ordering if you need custom measurements or a specific color split.
Construction Details, Fit Guidance, and Care
The cowhide panels on race-cut styles sit at consistent 1.0–1.2mm throughout — this prevents the soft spots that appear at stress points when hides are inconsistently graded before cutting. We pre-soften the cowhide before pattern cutting, which shortens break-in time without thinning the grain surface.
Lambskin sleeves run 0.8mm and we cut them with a forward arm rotation built into the pattern — the jacket sits naturally in a tucked riding position rather than pulling back at the shoulder when you reach for the bars. The full polyester twill lining attaches at the hem and cuff only, so it doesn’t restrict the shell’s movement through the back panel.
Sizing notes:
- Race-cut styles run slim through the chest and upper arm — size up one if you wear back or shoulder armor
- Street-fit styles run true to size with added room across the upper back
- Measure chest, shoulder width, and sleeve length — all three appear on each product page size chart
- Custom torso length, sleeve, chest width, or color panel adjustments available on request
Care:
Wipe the leather surface down after every ride with a damp cloth and hang to air dry before storing. Condition the cowhide panels with a wax-based leather balm twice a year — it keeps the dyed red panels from fading at seam edges and maintains grain density. Never store folded along the sleeve or back panel.
