Aprilia-Inspired Racing Gear Built from Genuine Leather
Fans of the Aprilia MotoGP program know the colorway — the RS-GP’s sharp red and black with clean geometric paneling. At Devilson, we build aprilia motogp clothing inspired by that paddock aesthetic, cut from genuine hide in-house and sewn to the same construction standard we apply across every racing piece we make.
We work with full-grain cowhide for outer shell panels and softer lambskin at the sleeve and flex zones. Every closure runs YKK hardware — main zip, chest vents, cuff adjusters — and we double-stitch every structural seam before the polyester lining goes in. The colorwork on livery-inspired pieces uses dyed leather panels, not surface print.
All aprilia motogp clothing pieces in this range run XS through 5XL — custom sizing and colorway requests accepted before order placement.
Construction Details, Sizing, and Care
The cowhide shell on race-cut styles runs 1.0–1.2mm — consistent across back, chest, and shoulder panels so the jacket holds its silhouette without stiffening at the collar. Lambskin sleeve panels sit at 0.7–0.9mm, pre-cut on the bias to allow natural arm rotation without seam distortion.
We sew the full polyester twill lining in separately, attached at the cuff and hem only — it moves with the jacket rather than pulling against the shell at the shoulder.
What’s in this category:
- Racing jackets in Aprilia-inspired red and black paneling with paddock-accurate cuts
- Two-piece suit styles referencing the RS-GP team livery layout
- Street-fit jackets with race colorway detailing and ventilated cowhide panels
- Customizable colorway options for riders who want a specific team’s look
Sizing notes:
- Race-inspired cuts run slim through the chest and upper arm — size up if you wear armor underneath
- Street-fit styles run true to size with slightly more volume across the back panel
- Measure chest, shoulder width, and sleeve length before selecting — all three appear on each product page size chart
- Custom sleeve length, chest width, or torso adjustments available on request
Care:
Wipe leather panels with a damp cloth after every outdoor ride and hang to dry before storing. Apply a wax-based leather conditioner to the cowhide surface twice a year — it keeps the dyed panels from fading at the edges. Keep away from direct sunlight during storage.
