Kawasaki Racing-Inspired Leather Gear Built from Genuine Cowhide and Lambskin

The Kawasaki Racing Team colorway is one of the cleanest in the paddock — flat lime green, black paneling, and a structured silhouette that looks deliberate rather than decorated. At Devilson, we build kawasaki motogp apparel that references that racing aesthetic, cut from genuine hide in-house and sewn without outsourcing any part of the structural assembly.

We use full-grain cowhide at the back, chest, and shoulder panels — consistent 1.0–1.2mm thickness, selected hide by hide before cutting begins. Lambskin handles the sleeves and underarm gussets where flex range matters more than panel rigidity. Every closure runs YKK hardware throughout, and we double-stitch all structural seams with bonded nylon thread before the polyester lining goes in.

All Kawasaki motogp apparel pieces in this range run XS through 5XL — custom sizing requests accepted before order confirmation.

Construction, Fit, and Care

The full-grain cowhide shell holds its panel geometry through sustained use because we grade hides for consistent thickness before any pattern goes down — soft spots in the back or chest panel are cut away, not hidden under lining. Lambskin sleeves sit at 0.8mm and we build a forward arm rotation into the cut so the shoulder seam stays in place when you reach for the bars.

We sew the full polyester twill lining separately, attaching it at the hem and cuff only — it moves with the jacket rather than pulling against the shell through the back panel. Snap-button plackets back the main YKK zip on all race-cut styles for added wind closure at speed.

What’s in this category:

  • Race-replica jackets in Kawasaki-inspired lime green and black with paddock-accurate panel construction
  • Street-fit riding jackets referencing the ZX-RR livery in a slightly relaxed silhouette
  • Perforated cowhide warm-weather styles with full structural paneling retained
  • Custom colorway and livery-split builds for riders who want specific team-reference detailing

Sizing notes:

  • Race-inspired cuts run slim through the chest and upper arm — size up if you ride with armor inserts underneath
  • Street-fit styles run true to size with additional volume across the upper back panel
  • Measure chest, shoulder width, and sleeve length before ordering — all three appear on each product page size chart
  • Custom sleeve length, chest width, torso length, or color panel splits available on request

Care:

Wipe down the cowhide surface with a damp cloth after every ride and let the jacket hang dry fully before storing — surface moisture left in the grain breaks down the dye at panel edges over time. Apply a wax-based leather conditioner to the outer shell twice a year to maintain grain density and keep the green panels from fading at the seams. Hang on a wide-shoulder hanger, never folded.
